I am a veterinary microbiologist with a solid academic and research foundation in zoonotic diseases, antimicrobial resistance (AMR), and molecular epidemiology. Currently, I work as a Research Assistant at the United Arab Emirates University, where I contribute to research on AMR and foodborne pathogens. Previously, I served as a Research Assistant and Project Coordinator at the Aklilu Lemma Institute of Pathobiology. I have developed advanced expertise in molecular diagnostics, immunology, proteomics, and One Health-based disease surveillance. I have co-authored more than 30 peer-reviewed publications. I am passionate about advancing scientific knowledge at the intersection of animal and human health through collaborative research, global partnerships, and innovative strategies for infectious disease prevention and control.
